WALES fans slated national boss Ryan Giggs for saying "we" when discussing England.

Manchester United legend Giggs, 44, was working as a pundit for ITV when giving his opinion during Gareth Southgate's side's clash against Belgium.

But he appeared to have a slip of the tongue as he referred to "we" when chatting about England at half-time.

Welshman Giggs, who picked up 64 caps for his country between 1991 and 2007,  said: "In that No 10 position, Rashford's dropping in, but can we get Loftus-Cheek in that little No 10 position?"

Furious Dragons fans were quick to pick up on his error.

One said: "Ryan Giggs can pack his f***ing bags as Wales manager."

A fellow user wrote: "Why does Ryan Giggs say 'we' when talking about England? You're the Wales manager now too, have some f***ing shame."

Giggs was appointed Wales boss in January on a four-year deal after Chris Coleman left the role for an ill-fated spell in charge of Sunderland.
