Bournemouth test Liverpool with £15million bid for out of favour winger Jordon Ibe

Eddie Howe ready to offer chance of regular football after Ibe finds his first team chances limited under Jurgen Klopp

BOURNEMOUTH last night slapped in a £15million bid for Jordon Ibe.

Liverpool are weighing up the offer before deciding whether to let the 20-year-old winger talk to the south-coast club.

West Brom have also shown interest but Eddie Howe is ready to offer Ibe the chance of regular football next season after finding his chances limited under Jurgen Klopp.

And the England Under-21 international will consider the move back south after four years at Anfield.

The ex-Wycombe youngster broke into the first team two seasons ago but Klopp has not used him on a regular basis.

That has alerted Premier League clubs to his situation just a season after being hailed as Raheem Sterling’s successor.

Brendan Rodgers had Ibe firmly in his plans before getting the axe – and Klopp will now decide whether to keep him in his squad as he makes plans for next season.

Ibe made 12 Premier League starts last season but made more appearances off the bench for Klopp.
