Claudio Ranieri admits he wants return to management in Premier League after Leicester sacking
Italian boss is one of the favourites to replace Sam Allardyce at Crystal Palace
CLAUDIO RANIERI is itching to get back into management and wants a job in the Premier League.
The title-winning boss was sacked as Leicester manager in February as he struggled to get the Foxes firing during the campaign.
But the Italian's heroic success and the King Power Stadium has meant Ranieri has been linked with a string of top flight jobs including Watford and the vacant Crystal Palace job.
And when asked whether he is looking for a Premier League return, Ranieri was more than open to the opportunity but is also looking for clubs across Europe.
He told Reuters: "Why not? If a good project arrives, why not?
"I look for the Premier League or another league in Europe. I have had some discussions, I don't tell you."
The 65-year-old has emerged as one of the favourites to replace Sam Allardyce after he stunned Crystal Palace by quitting on Tuesday.

Allardyce held a meeting with Palace chairman Steve Parish over the club's visions for the future but ended up resigning before hinting at retirement.
He said: "I have no ambitions to take another job, I simply want to be able to enjoy all the things you cannot really enjoy with the 24/7 demands of managing any football club, let alone one in the Premier League.
“This is not about transfer targets, finances or anything along those lines. This is me taking the decision I believe is right for my family and myself."
