Paris Saint-Germain headquarters and Angel Di Maria and Javier Pastore’s houses searched as part of tax investigation
France's Central Anti-Corruption and Financial Offences Bureau entered the HQ early on Tuesday morning
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN headquarters and the homes of Angel Di Maria and Javier Pastore were searched on Tuesday morning by French anti-corruption officers.
Agents from France's Central Anti-Corruption and Financial Offences Bureau entered the HQ of the French club at the Parc des Princes and their other offices in Boulogne-Billancourt.
The officers also entered the property of Di Maria and Pastore as well as Nantes forward Emiliano Sala.
The raids are part of France's National Financial Prosecutors' Office investigation into tax on image rights payments that were prompted by documents published by Football Leaks.
Investigations were opened in December after the whistle-blowers allegedly detailed the tax arrangements of some of the top names in football.
Di Maria has previously been the target of tax charges in Spain after his time with La Liga giants Real Madrid.
