Swansea ace Kyle Bartley to have West Brom medical after £7m fee agreed
Baggies boss Darren Moore wants defensive reinforcements as he attempts to win promotion at the first attempt
KYLE BARTLEY will have a medical at West Brom after a fee was agreed with Swansea.
The Baggies have landed the 27-year-old centre-back in a package that could eventually be worth £7million including add-ons.
Darren Moore targeted the ex-Leeds defender with Craig Dawson likely to leave The Hawthorns for Burnley.
He wants experience at the heart of his defence and reckons Bartley is the ideal replacement as he looks for promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt.
Bartley spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Leeds but the Yorkshiremen could not make his successful loan permanent.
He stayed with Swansea and made 12 appearances last season but failed to prevent relegation under Paul Clement and Carlos Carvalhal.
