Your home could soon be invaded by a breed of super-fleas with giant erect todgers two-and-a-half times their body length

HOMES face being invaded by billions of super-fleas with giant willies.
The insects — far bigger than ordinary fleas — boast an erect todger two-and-a-half times their body length.
At 3.3mm it is the largest, relative to size, of any bug on Earth.
They are thought to have come to the UK from Europe over the past three years.
But this year the population has boomed because they have been mating with native fleas impressed by their tackle.
And with the nights drawing in, they are itching to hop indoors to settle in centrally-heated homes.

The larger mutated super-fleas emerged from hibernation much earlier than usual this spring following a mild winter.
Rob Simpson, of pest control group Basis Prompt, said: “Fleas which would usually remain dormant for much longer became active sooner, leading to more prolific breeding and therefore a larger population.”
There are 63 species of flea in the UK. About ten of these can be found in homes.
