Arsenal transfer news: Marseille ready to splash out £20million to sign Olivier Giroud this summer
French giants boss Rudi Garcia plotting big-money move for Gunners star, according to reports
MARSEILLE will attempt to sign Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud in a big-money move this summer, according to reports.
The French international has emerged as a top target for the ambitious Ligue 1 side.
And Sky Sports claim that they are ready to splash up to £20million to bring him to the Stade Velodrome.
He was huge funds to spend after American businessman Frank McCourt took over the south coast club last October.
They have already lured Dimitri Payet back from West Ham for big bucks in January.

And they are ready to go all out again in their efforts to snatch another Premier League star.
Giroud recently extended his Arsenal contract until 2020 but that has not deterred Marseille.
The Gunners could be tempted to cash in on the popular forward, who is now 30-years-old.
They have been linked with a number of other attacking talents, and they could use the funds raised from this potential deal to help bring in reinforcements.
Giroud, who helped Arsenal reach the FA Cup Final on Sunday as they defeated Manchester City, has scored 13 goals in 14 starts this season.
He moved to north London from Montpelier in June 2012 and has notched 95 times in total for Arsene Wenger’s side.
