The Chase’s Paul Sinha angers Bradley Walsh after claiming he doesn’t know lyrics from his chart topping album

Bradley had the biggest selling debut album of 2016

BRADLEY Walsh was left unimpressed on The Chase after brainiac quiz master Paul Sinha fluffed a question about the show host.

In a surprising statistic, 56-year-old Bradley had the biggest UK debut album of 2016 - and the latest instalment of The Chase saw a question involving a track from his record.

Bradley's Gold certificate selling album is titled Chasing Dreams and features covers of jazz songs - and went on to outsell the likes of Zayn Malik to win the biggest selling debut album title of last year.

On The Chase a question was asked about a lyric from a song called Sway, but 46-year-old chaser Paul was clueless about the tune.

"I know the tune, but I don't know who sang it," the Bedfordshire born TV star said.

His comment prompted Bradley to respond: "You don't know who sang it? Oh, everyone's sang it."

He continued: "Frank Sinatra sang it, Dean Martin had a hit with it, Michael Bublé had a hit with it."

Bradley then landed Paul in it by adding: "I had a hit with it on my album."

Paul's blank expression then suggested that he is less than impressed by Bradley's successful singing career.

Indeed, last December, Paul blasted the Bradley's decision to launch a music career.

The 46-year-old quiz player, who is currently in panto in York, said he cannot understand the presenter’s choice to release his debut album Chasing Dreams, filled with covers of Big Band favourites.

He believes Bradley has only made the transition into music to go up against rival quiz show host Alexander Armstrong, 46, from Pointless, who released his second album Upon a Different Shore last month.

Paul said: “I say, ‘If you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all.’

“You see we’re in a competition with Pointless so maybe he’s in a competition with Armstrong. Not many things surprise me but this took me aback.”

The Chaser went on to say he believes anyone who buys the collection must have issues.

He added: “That’s not to say he’s not a good singer – he’s a triple threat. I can’t imagine the mentality of anyone who would buy the CD.”
