Uefa threaten to boot PSG out of Europe if they have failed to comply with Financial Fair Play rules
UEFA have sensationally threatened to kick Paris Saint-Germain out of the Europe - if they have failed to comply with Financial Fairplay (FFP) rules.
Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin insists he will not hesitate to impose the ultimate sanction if the moneybags French club are found guilty of breaching the governing body's FFP regulations.
The European body have already launched an investigation into the transfer dealings of the Qatari-owned Paris outfit.
This summer PSG broke the bank, splashing almost £400million to sign Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, who has joined on a contentious season-long loan from Monaco.
Celtic kick-off Group B tomorrow night against the French cracks at Parkhead, however the result could be scratched from the records if PSG are excluded from the tournament.
Ceferin is coming under increasing pressure from other European countries to crack down on the lavish spending by certain sides.
The UEFA chief said: "If I want to be as popular as Michel Platini, I know I have to exclude PSG from the European Cups.
"We will not be afraid to punish. Nobody is above the law."

However, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi , insists his club have not broken any rules.
He said: "I am very confident. UEFA does what it wants. Nothing is hidden and UEFA can come to our offices.
“We respect all the rules, and if other clubs are not happy, it's not my problem."
Uefa introduced FFP "break-even" rules in 2013, requiring clubs to balance spending with their revenue.
Last week, La Liga chief Javier Tebas accused PSG of "Financial doping" following their staggering summer spending spree.
Tebas has blasted the Qatari-owned Ligue 1 side and has warned something must be done about the moneybags outfit.
He told Soccerex in Manchester: “We’ve looked at PSG’s accounts and they earn more from sponsorship than Manchester United – that’s impossible, that’s financial doping.
“Uefa and other institutions, the EU, need to carry out investigations.”
He added: “They are laughing at the system. We have caught them peeing in the swimming pool.
“Neymar has peed from the diving board, we cannot accept this.”
Manchester City didn’t escape the wrath of Tebas as the Spaniards also lodged a complaint about the Premier League big spenders.
City will not be investigated by Uefa – but Tebas had a dig at Pep Guardiola’s side accusing them of cheating the system.
Tebas added: “This is when the football clubs have competitive advantage not coming from the club itself, PSG and Manchester City and in the past Chelsea.
“Manchester City paid nearly £900m, PSG £868m for transfers, If we don’t control the situation the whole industry will become destructured.”
