Real Madrid will reportedly ‘turn to Germany coach Joachim Low’ if Zinedine Zidane is sacked

Zidane is facing calls to quit from fans with European champions humbled by Tottenham at Wembley and lagging ten points behind Barcelona in La Liga

REAL MADRID will turn to Germany manager Joachim Low if they sack Zinedine Zidane, it has been claimed.

Zidane has come under huge pressure this season and Saturday’s draw at local rivals Atletico saw the European champions fall ten points behind Barcelona in the title race, with no team in the history of La Liga hauling back such a huge deficit.

Don Balon report that Los Blancos club president Florentino Perez is keen to replace the Frenchman with the experienced German coach to arrest the La Liga giant's slide.

However, the chances of the 57-year-old coach walking away from the world champions appear to be slim as he is desperate to help Germany defend their crown at next summer’s World Cup.

There appear to be cracks in the dressing room at Real with Cristiano Ronaldo angrily confronting Zidane before the draw with Atletico.

Dario Gol report that the 32-year-old is not happy with life in Madrid and called Zidane out for selling experienced players such as Pepe, Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez last summer.

And after the draw the Portuguese superstar tore into team-mates Luka Modric, Marco Asensio and Isco in the dressing room.

There could be some relief for Zidane as skipper Sergio Ramos will return to action “in no time” after breaking his nose in the Madrid derby.
