Strictly Come Dancing fresh fix row as it’s revealed Alexandra Burke was coached by judge Craig Revel Horwood last year in Sister Act The Musical
STRICTLY Come Dancing has been hit with fresh fix claims as viewers complain that judge Craig Revel Horwood previously directed and choreographed Alexandra Burke in Sister Act The Musical.
On Saturday night the 29-year-old X Factor winner put on a stunning performance as she jived to Proud Mary, earning an astonishing 39 points.
Giving a rare seal of approval, Craig told her: “I have no idea where all that came from darling.
“You were out there dancing to split the atom, my goodness you created a nuclear reaction. Incredible.”
However many found the fact that Craig had “no idea” where Alexandra’s jaw dropping routine came from strange, seeing as he choreographed her while during her stint in Sister Act The Musical last year.
One furious fan tweeted: “Alexandra - straight from one CRH production Sister Act the Musical, to another SCD ! Says it all, totally devalues the show!”
Another added: “#StrictlyComeDancing2017 why is Alexandra Burke's shocked when craig compliments her?? Didn't he put her in sister act??”
Someone else fumed: “#StrictlyComeDancing Alexandra Burke was choreographed by Craig in Sister Act. Is that not a conflict of interest? And she was paid! #cheat”

And a fourth wrote: “#Strictly Should Judge Craig b telling everyone what brilliant dancer Alexandra Burke is given he choreographed her for a year in Sister Act.”
Whether or not she was expecting such glowing reviews, the singer - who lost her mother shortly before the show began, broke down in tears after her high score.
She bagged 10s from Darcey Bussell, Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli, while Craig gave her a nine, making her score 39 out of 40.
The 29-year-old was overcome with emotion as the score sank in, but it soon became clear her tears weren't just about the numbers.
Covering her mouth as her dance partner Gorka Marquez wrapped his arm around her shoulder, Alexandra cried: "I wish my mum was here".
Host Claudia Winkleman was also quick to console the distraught singer, giving her a big hug and telling her: "Baby, you did so well and she'd be so proud".
Viewers took to Twitter to discuss Alexandra's performance and tears, with one writing: "Ahh my heart just breaks for Alexandra Burke."
Another wrote: "Anyone who has lost a parent totally understands where Alexandra is coming from."
