Arsenal news: Mesut Ozil set for Barcelona move with star’s agent negotiating £20million deal ahead of January transfer window
Reports in Spain claim Arsene Wenger has personally green-lighted Ozil's exit in January with six other teams chasing him
MESUT OZIL’S agent is reportedly in negotiations with Barcelona and has told them Arsenal will accept a bid of £20million in January.
Mundo Deportivo claims Ozil’s representative Dr Erkut Sogut is already holding talks with the Catalan giants over a winter switch to the Nou Camp.
It’s said that Ozil is keen on joining Barcelona but wants to receive an offer as soon as possible.
There are apparently six other teams interested in signing the Germany international.
And it’s added that Arsenal are keen on a January exit as they look to recoup as much money as possible.
Dr Sogut has also allegedly told Barcelona that Ozil would like a contract taking him to 2020, although there are no reports about his wage demands.

And despite interest from elsewhere, Ernesto Valverde’s side are believed to be firmly in the hotseat, with Ozil said to have set his sights on Barca after being snubbed by Pep Guardiola in 2010.
There is also the added benefit of playing alongside Lionel Messi in a front three which also features Luis Suarez.

And with Arsenal apparently willing to cash in, all signs appear to point in favour of a soon-to-be done deal.
Arsene Wenger tried and failed to tie Ozil down to a new deal, and the report adds that the Frenchman has green-lighted the deal personally.
