Stunned gran snaps pic of glowing ‘fairies’ with ‘legs and knees’ dancing through a Yorkshire wood

A GRAN claims to have snapped fairies flying in a wood while out walking with her granddaughter.
Debbie Garland was playing a game of treasure hunt in the woods near her Yorkshire home when she saw something glowing.
After rushing home to grab her phone she returned to the woods with her five-year-old granddaughter and filmed the lights.
The customer service adviser believes there were about ten or more fairies - and claims she could see arms and legs on the magical creatures.
The 55-year-old showed the images to her friends and family and said nobody could work out what they were.
She thinks the only explanation is that they are fairies.
Debbie said: "They're fairies – they look like Tinkerbell. There's just no other explanation.
"I suppose some might be sceptical but I believe in fairies and my grandchildren do too. They believe in the tooth fairy as well.
"I had just gone out for a walk with my granddaughter Lily and we spotted the lights over on the green island near our house.
"I said 'look Lilly, they look like fairies, would you like grandma to go back to the house for her phone so we can take a picture?'
"When I came back I thought they would have gone but I managed to take a photo."
Debbie was amazed when looking back over the shots because they appeared to be complete with arms and legs.
She said: "When I looked back at the pictures I thought 'flipping heck, they've got legs and knees'.
"Looking closely you can see the shape of ankles too.
"I just didn't know what they were. There was a group of about ten or 11 of them - perhaps 20.
"When I showed my son he said that it's just light shining through the trees, but I said no it's not – he said I was being daft.
"My granddaughter believes in fairies and I just can't explain what they were.
"They didn't look like dragonflies or anything like that. There's just absolutely no explanation.
"When I got home I blew them up so I could see clearly and what really amazed me were the colours. They just seemed to glow a beautiful gold.
"I know there are a lot of sceptics but I like to believe. There's just no other explanation.
"People can believe what they want to believe.
"As far as I'm concerned I was out walking with my granddaughter and we spotted little Tinkerbells flying around."
Another instances where fairies were believed to have been captured on film was the Cottingley Fairies - which appeared in a series of five photographs taken by two young cousins who duped many with their antics.
These pictures caught the attention of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and a war hero academic whose family believe was cursed by the fairytale.
