EVERTON officials have reportedly been in Milan as the Toffees attempt to seal a number of “interesting” transfer deals.
The Merseyside delegation, which includes director of football Steve Walsh, are believed to have met with Napoli and AC Milan.
Carlo Jacomuzzi, an Everton scout, confirmed that the situations of the former’s Duvan Zapata and the latter’s Carlos Bacca are “interesting”.
The talent spotter explained that Napoli’s £25million price tag on their striker is too high.
He went on to name several other targets to an Italian radio station that now look unlikely, admitting the Premier League outfit were interested in Dries Mertens and Faouzi Ghoulam.
Jacomuzzi explained that the path to Mertens was “waned” and Ghoulam wanted to remain in Naples.

Now the Everton entourage are to meet with Inter Milan and “several other teams” in regards to striking possible deals for their players.
Among the names they are targeting are believed to be Ever Banega, M’Baye Niang and Marcelo Brozovic.
They look likely to get their first bit of summer transfer business over the line this week.
Everton medics are flying to Poland today so that the keeper can undergo a medical at the England Under-21s training camp ahead of the European Championship.
Ajax captain Davy Klaassen is another who looks certain to join Ronald Koeman’s revolution.
Meanwhile, they are also keen on Malaga forward Sandro Ramirez.
