West Ham fans urged to stop calling 999 by police over club’s shocking start

WEST HAM fans have been warned by cops after calling 999 to moan about their team's shocking start to the season.

The Hammers were beaten 2-0 by Watford on Sunday with new boss David Moyes having it all to do to help his new outfit beat the drop.

But it seems some unhappy Hammers have allowed frustrations to boil over by calling the police to let off steam.

Essex Police Force have warned fans to stop using their emergency number.

It’s got that bad that they have even taken to social media to tell supporters to vent their fury elsewhere.

Essex Police Control room said on Twitter: “Ringing 999 because West Ham Utd have lost again and you aren't sure what to do is not acceptable!
