Who plays Emmerdale's Dan Spencer?
Dan Spencer is played by actor Liam Fox.
He has played the role since 2011 and was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2013 National Television Awards.
He was initially contracted for eight episodes, but he was later promoted to the main cast.
Before landing the role as Dan, Liam did actually appear on the soap as different characters.
He said on Good Morning Britain: "I'd been it in a couple of times, usually wearing a police uniform.
Who is he married to?
Liam was previously married to Hollyoaks’ star Nicole Barber-Lane, who plays Myra McQueen.
The pair were married for 16 years, before splitting in February 2015.
Speaking at the time, they said: “It is with much sadness that we confirm the end of our marriage, though our family unit remains strong.
"We'll always love and respect each other and are united by our children and family remaining at the centre of our lives.”
They share a teenage son.
